MSO Business Texting

This page is about texting between Musculoskeletal Health, Medical Service Organization (MSK MSO) and its business contacts. It is not for patients. Patients of the practices we serve: see How to Opt In to Text Messages.
MSK MSO provides billing, prior authorization, staffing and practice-management services to independent medical practices. MSO Business Texting is the text line of the MSO office, (858) 451-4996. We use it to talk with our clients (the medical practices and providers we serve) about service requests, meetings, onboarding, invoices for our services and account questions, and to answer people who text us with a question. We never use it for advertising, marketing or promotions. We text only on behalf of MSK MSO.
We never add anyone automatically. You receive texts from (858) 451-4996 only in one of these two ways, and both require you to act first.
Option 1: You text us first. Anyone can text (858) 451-4996. Your message starts the conversation. Our staff reply only about the matter you raised, and do not text you again after it is resolved unless you write to us again.
Option 2: You ask us to text you, then confirm by replying YES. If you are an MSO client and ask our staff (by email, phone or in person) to contact you by text, we send you exactly one request message and nothing else:
"Musculoskeletal Health MSO: you asked us to text you about MSO business matters (meetings, service requests, invoices). Msg frequency varies. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply YES to consent, STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms: https://www.musculoskeletalmso.com/policies/terms-and-conditions"
If you do not reply YES, we do not text you again. Our messaging system blocks texts to any number that has not opted in. Your YES reply is recorded with its date and time as your consent, and we then send this confirmation:
"Musculoskeletal Health MSO: you are subscribed to MSO Business Texting. Msg frequency varies. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
Texting is optional. It is never required to become or remain a client.
Message frequency varies with your business with us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; you will get one confirmation and nothing further. Replying STOP to any MSK MSO number stops texts from all MSK MSO numbers, including patient texting; to resume, reply START to each number. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected] or call (858) 451-4996. You can also opt out by telling our staff. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Not for patient information. Standard text messages are not encrypted. Please do not text patient names, dates of birth or health information; if you do, we will move the conversation to a secure channel.
Your mobile number and texting consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates
for marketing or promotional purposes.
