How to Opt In to Text Messages
August, 2026
Musculoskeletal Health, Medical Service Organization (MSK MSO) provides administrative services for the medical practices listed on this site, including Dr. Kevin Yoo's office at (858) 909-9033. This page explains how patients of those practices consent to receive text messages from us.
We never add anyone to text messaging automatically. There are exactly two ways a patient can start receiving texts, and both require the patient to act first.
Option 1 — You text us first
You send a text to our office number, (858) 909-9033. Your message starts the conversation, and our staff reply to you during business hours.
Option 2 — You ask us to text you, then confirm by replying YES
If you give our staff your mobile number and ask to be contacted by text — while scheduling in person or over the phone — we send you exactly one confirmation message and nothing else
Musculoskeletal Health MSO (Dr. Yoo's office): we'd like to text you about appointments, answers to your questions, and secure links to upload or view photos. Texting is not a fully secure channel. Msg frequency varies. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply YES to consent, STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms: https://www.musculoskeletalmso.com/policies/terms-and-conditions
If you do not reply YES, we do not text you again. No reminders, no follow-ups. Our messaging system blocks all outbound texts to a number that has not opted in — staff cannot send anything beyond that single request. Your reply of YES is recorded with its date and time as your consent.
What you get, and how to stop
Messages cover appointment scheduling, confirmations and reminders, answers to questions you send us, and secure links to upload or view photos. Message frequency varies based on your appointments; most patients receive fewer than 10 in a month. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out, START to re-subscribe, or HELP for help. You can also just tell our staff.
Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of treatment, registration, or any purchase. Declining has no effect on the care or services you receive.
